The Vendée is a small river in western France, and a tributary to the river Sèvre Niortaise. Its source is near L'Absie, in the west of the Deux-Sèvres département. For a few km it forms the border between the départements Vendée (named after the river) and Charente-Maritime, before it flows into the Sèvre Niortaise near Marans.
It is quite a good river for Carp fishing.
