St Florent

St Florent in the Maine et Loire section of the regional natural park of Loire-Anjou-Touraine, is a little village with the most extensive wine caves in the region.

Ackerman was founded in 1811 and possesses 7 kilometres of cellars, cut out of the soft tuffeau rock over the last two hundred years.

St Florent also has a museum of carnival masks to delight children of all ages!
